Things have been a bit slow, I have been very busy with my Job IRL i have had little time to get any major work done. However, I brought it upon myself to get some new interesting concepts added here before the new year.
A few prototype systems will be added in tomarow. I will add to the list once I'm certain each feature is ready.
Currently ready:
- 2 new skills: Harvesting, Carpentry
- Harvesting will be used to gather world resources (trees, flowers, plants etc...)
- Carpentry offers a variety of new craftables and containers.
- Trees will now work in a more realistic manner.
The life of a tree consists of the following stages:
- Seed
- Seedling
- Sapling
- Adult
- Tree's can be chopped down to a stump, thus the tree will die and have a chance to breakdown and regrow.
- Also, a tree may die and fall.
- Your harvesting skill determines how many resources you can obtain from the tree before it dies.
- Additions that are currently being worked on:
- Players may speed up a tree's growth by watering them.
- You may also plant a seed and start a tree anywhere with a specifc dirt patch.
- Leaves will be harvestable for various consumption (similar to orange pedals, and rose of trinsic)
- Certain tree's may produce fruits or nuts.
There are several small fixes as well that i will update the list with at a later time.
