100% safe I created and uploaded it all myself. This isnt something I found.

I wanted that dang backpack couldn't find it online or in my UO files so I made it from a few images.
Same size and everything.

Im very aware of that backpack, i left it out because i thought it was gruesome and such low resolution.

However, i could add it to the next client patch i suppose.

Alot of the pre-alpha graphics were high resolution copies from Ultima Pagan. Troubles me that they wanted to use that low res pack.

I love this backpack though:

No problem Draconis, I was pretty sure you knew about it and there probably was a reason why you did not add it, I just thought others may want it. as I did.
I figured if I'm using the old life bars and ppd, might as well use the backpack also.

But I loved Pagan, so many U9 images are in both pre-alpha and UO just enhanced or recreated as you said which I've always enjoyed.

If no one objects I'd love to see either of the backpacks added
