Server is back online!
My passion for Ultima and First Dawn i just could not let go.
Note the last save before the server was last online was lost. Current save is an older backup.
Hope to see some old faces return and new arrive.

Hail and well met! Wow I haven't typed that in a long time haha.

Every now and then I resubscribe to UO and my recent nostalgia had me going through my old Ultima bookmarks. I even have some old posts in this forum, but I never got to check your server out so it was exciting to look in here and see this news.

However, something unfortunate is happening and I might never be able to experience First Dawn.

I will attach a screenshot if the forum lets me. I can log in just fine but once I go from log-in to character creation, I get a black screen except for some numbers and a stat gump.

I've tried reinstalling both First Dawn and Razor several times, updating Razor, installing directly in the C: directory, and tried all kinds of Windows Compatibility settings, all to no avail! I'm starting to wonder if the First Dawn client isn't compatible with Windows 10 or doesn't like RTX graphics cards, I suppose it could be anything.

I did some digging into this. Appears there is a problem with the patch level using old gumpart with missing portions.

I have this fixed, the launcher should update. If not HERE is the direct link to do it manually.

Just logged in and it appears to be working so far!

Well I don't play UO as much as I used to, but that doesn't often stop me from going full weekend warrior haha.

I still enjoy the official servers too which means I look for very unique player-run servers and wow yours is definitely in my top three I spent yesterday evening just walking around Britain looking at everything, pretty wild experience finally getting to see things as they were before the beginning.

Also you should've seen my brother's face (another long-time UO player) when he was looking at my paper doll and I yanked the pants off
